For improved pressure drop control, higher pressure applications & alternate heating & cooling cycles, half-pipe type jacket is recommended.  Although more limited than dimple jacketing from a tank installation standpoint, half-pipe jacket is better suited for larger heat transfer areas.  Material options are carbon & stainless.
